October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s chairman Elman Rustamov expects good indicators on the current account of the balance of payments.

ABC.AZ reports that following the 1st half of 2021, the current account surplus made up 8% of GDP.

"The balance of payments indicators are mainly influenced by the oil factor. But, as you can see, oil prices are rising. Therefore, we expect very good results," Rustamov said.

At that, he did not specify what the current account surplus might be.
