October 18, Fineko/abc.az. During today's trading the Turkish lira has fallen again against the US dollar.

ABC.AZ reports that the exchange rate of the Turkish lira to the dollar fell to 9.28 TL/USD, updating the historical minimum for the fourth time in a row.

All this is happening against the background of the Central Bank's reduction of the interest rate from 19 to 1 percent on 23 September.

The exchange rate of the lira against the dollar fell to 9.18 TL/USD after last week’s resignation of Turkish Central Bank’s deputy chairmen Semih Tuman and Ugur Namik Kyuchuk in accord with the relevant presidential order.
