September 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that at today’s auction the banks were sold $64.6 million that is by $3.7 million or by 5.42% less against the previous auction.

"The demand from banks in the currency auction was $64,6 million and was fully secured," the CBA said.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
