September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted today a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that at the auction 14 banks were sold $68.3 million or by AZN 7 million or 11.42% more against the previous auction ($61.3 million). 

"The demand from banks in the auction totaled $68.3 million and was fully met," the CBA said.

Following the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
