September 13, Fineko/abc.az. Apple smartphones will be able to convert voice messages in the WhatsApp messenger to text.

The feature will be exclusive to Apple devices. While it is available to beta testers of the messenger app, no information is reported about the operation of recognition on Android devices.

The decryption will work online, and the user will be able to choose the place in the voice message that he needs to convert to text.

The latter is stored in an encrypted WhatsApp database.

The new option for voice messages will be based on Apple's speech recognition technology and will require permission to send data to the Apple company's servers for decryption.
