September 10, Fineko/abc.az. Diamond mining company Alrosa sold rough for $297 million and polished diamonds for $10 million in August 2021.

According to Alrosa, compared with August 2020, the company increased sales of rough by 47% and reduced sales of polished diamonds by 31.5%.

At that, in August 2021 Alrosa's income from sales of products amounted to $306 million (8.4% less versus July 2021). In total, since the beginning of 2021 rough and polished diamonds have been sold for $2.976 bn (against $1.244 bn a year earlier).
