August 2, Fineko/abc.az. The monetary base in Azerbaijan as of 1 August 2021 is AZN 14.213 bn (3% more than on 1 July).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the monetary base increased by 4.8% for Jan-Jul 2021 and by 21.7% over the past year.

It is also noted that the official foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan amounted to $6.496 bn. The indicator is 0.6% more against last month, 2% more than at the beginning of the year, and 0.4% more than year-on-year.
