CBA chair: Supply at currency market expected to exceed demand by end of 2021

July 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank expects that by the end of 2021 the supply in the foreign exchange market will exceed the demand, ABC.AZ reports citing CBA’s chairman Elman Rustamov as saying this at a press conference on interest rates.

"We may face the problem of the inability of the State Oil Fund to fully sell at auctions the currency intended for transfer to the State Budget," Rustamov added.
