July 27, Fineko/abc.az. The number of bank accounts opened in the banks of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 95,514 as of 1 July 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that 82,654 or 86.5% of them are active accounts.

Of the 21,728 bank accounts opened for Jan-Jun 2021, 21,692 were active accounts.

By 1 July 2021 the number of POS terminals installed in the Autonomous Republic reached 1,467 ones.

Over Jan-Jun 2021 the non-cash payments made via the Internet and POS terminals amounted to AZN 56.188 million (39.5% more than a year earlier).
