July 15, Fineko/abc.az. The remittances for $42.5 million were made from Azerbaijan to Georgia over the past half of 2021 (2.5-fold more versus Jan-Jun 2020), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the National Bank of Georgia.

For Jan-Jun 2021 the money transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan were carried out for $8.8 million (22.2% more year-on-year).

In June alone $7.1 million was transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia, and $1.9 million was transferred from Georgia to Azerbaijan.
