ABC.AZ reports that according to an analysis by Capital Economics, the euro may continue to fall.

Investors are waiting for data from research organization Markit Economics on the composite index of business activity PMI in industry and services in 19 countries of the eurozone. Analysts believe that the index, according to the final estimate, rose up to 59.2 points in June from 57.1 points in May, as the preliminary estimate showed.

At the same time, the US currency continues to be supported by strong data on the US labor market. On Friday, the Ministry of Labor of the country reported that the number of people employed in non-agricultural sectors of the economy increased by 850,000 in June.

Analysts at Capital Economics believe that the dollar will continue to strengthen this week if further US macroeconomic statistics are better than forecasts.

As of 11:15, the euro-dollar exchange rate was declining to $1.1859 per euro from the previous closing level of $1.1864.
