June 14, Fineko/abc.az. In Q1 of 2021 Azerbaijan's balance of payments surplus amounted to $325.9 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that at that, deficit of $1.343 bn was formed for the same term of 2020.

The total surplus was formed at the expense of current account surplus of $627.7 million (-2.9%), capital account surplus of $600,000 (no surplus a year earlier), financial account surplus of $14.4 million (deficit a year earlier), and balance sheet surplus of $316.8 million (-46.8%).
