June 7, Fineko/abc.az. Preparation of a state program is underway in El Salvador for legalization of bitcoin, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press.

It was noted that El Salvador is preparing to become the first state to adopt e-money as a means of payment.

The president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukale, has already made a relevant proposal.

He stated he would submit the bill to Congress as early as next week.

According to the president, the legalization of bitcoin will create a large number of new jobs and make financial instruments more accessible to the population.
