June 3, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese authorities have ordered American automaker Tesla to recall 734 cars Model 3 due to possible defects in the seat belts and brake system.

According to China’s State Administration for Market Regulation, the screws in the upper seat belt fasteners on the front seats may not be fully screwed in 311 cars imported in China from 12 January to 20 November 2019. In the event of an emergency, this may prevent the seat belts from working properly.

In addition, Tesla must recall in China 423 cars of the same model imported in China from 2 February to 20 November 2019. The identified defect was a problem with the mounting of the brake caliper.
