May 31, Fineko/abc.az. The data on bank card transactions by foreign citizens in Azerbaijan for Jan-Apr 2021 has been unveiled.

According to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, the operations carried out during this period amounted to AZN 112.2 million. This indicator means a decrease of 51.6% versus Jan-Apr 2020.

This April the foreigners made transactions through bank cards for AZN 28.3 million (15.3% less than in March).

For the first 4 months of this year 162,900 foreign citizens from 134 countries visited Azerbaijan (3.3-fold less against Jan-Apr 2020).
