May 27, Fineko/abc.az. American financial corporation Citi Group plans to liquidate retail banking in Russia.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that Citi Group has decided to sell the business of working with private clients.

The decision was announced almost simultaneously with imposing of new US sanctions.

In addition to the Russian Federation, the company is leaving 12 other countries. Among them are Australia, Bahrain, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
