May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Russian banks have started to raise interest rates on deposits.
The improvement in conditions averaged 0.2-1.5%.
On 23 April the Central Bank of Russia raised the discount rate by 0.5 percentage points up to 5%. This was the sharpest increase since December 2014.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, as of 1 April the average interest rate on deposits and deposits in manats was 8.54% and in foreign currency – 1.71%.
