April 6, Fineko/abc.az. The total revenues of 1,606 municipalities in Azerbaijan for 2020 reached AZN 34.97 million and expenditures AZN 34.38 million. Thus, the total surplus of municipal budgets amounted to AZN 587,600.

ABC.AZ reports that last year revenues to the budgets of municipalities decreased by 3.9% compared with 2019, while expenditures decreased by 4.5%.

Tax revenues to the budgets of municipalities in 2020 amounted to AZN 14.408 million (an increase of 2.5%), non-tax revenues AZN 19.65 million (decline of 8.1%), other revenues AZN 907,800 (decline of 2.7%).
