February 18, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of transactions in the non-cash foreign exchange market decreased by 6.7% (against 2019) to $25.9 bn for 2020.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), 86.5% of non-cash currency transactions were conducted in US dollars, and 13.5% in other currencies. 34.7% of foreign exchange transactions were carried out in the interbank foreign exchange market, and 65.3% in the intrabank foreign exchange market.
