February 12, Fineko/abc.az. The financial support in the total amount of AZN 358 million was given to the entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan last year, ABC.AZ reports, citing Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov at a video conference on the theme "The tax system in the post-pandemic period".

The minister noted that along with this, entrepreneurs received subsidized loans for totally AZN 115 million.

"There have been losses in the context of the pandemic all over the world last year. In order to avoid serious losses in Azerbaijan, the government has provided assistance to the national economy and business entities. Urgent tax incentives and other mechanisms have been launched.

The pandemic has led to an economic downturn around the world, and Azerbaijan's GDP has decreased by 4.3% due to its impact," Jabbarov said.
