February 10, Fineko/abc.az. Dutch brewing company Heineken NV plans to cut 8,000 jobs.
ABC.AZ reports that the concern decided to take such a step in connection with the negative consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
The company plans new initiatives to cut costs by 2 bn euro by the end of 2023. Heineken will part with a tenth of its total workforce as part of the saving of $2.4 bn it aims to achieve by 2023. So, every fifth employee of the company's head office will be dismissed by the end of March.
