January 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $67.4 million was sold to banks at the currency auction on 21 January.

"The demand from banks at the auction amounted to $67.4 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the dollar was 1.70 AZN/$1.
