January 6, Fineko/abc.az. Michelin, one of the largest tire companies, begins large staff cuts.

ABC.AZ reports that this company intends to reduce up to 2,300 jobs at its French enterprises.

The global giant linked the staff cut with part of its simplification and competitiveness plan in France.

Another reason for the staff reduction is the pandemic. Thus, the decline in car sales also has negative impact on tire manufacturers.
