November 27, Fineko/abc.az. France has stated that it does not recognize the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic", ABC.AZ reports with reference to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On 25 November, the French Senate adopted a resolution calling for the recognition of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic by the French authorities.

"During the discussions held before the vote, French Foreign Affairs Ministry Secretary of State Jean-Baptiste Lemoine recalled the position of the French government on the matter - France does not recognize the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic," the statement reads.
