October 13, Fineko/abc.az. A new project is being launched in the Aghdam Industrial Park to organize flour production. Aghdam Agro Un LLC has received the status of a new resident of the Aghdam Industrial Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy).

Within this project, the investment cost of which is 12 million manats, it is planned to establish flour production at the enterprise.

The main purpose of the Industrial Park, created by the presidential decree dated May 28, 2021 on the territory of 190 hectares in Aghdam region, is to revive the occupation-liberated territories, increase the industrial potential of Karabakh, support entrepreneurship and ensure employment in the manufacturing sector. The priority areas of Park's activities include manufacture of building materials, packaging of agricultural products, the production of canned fruits and vegetables, meat, milk, feed and fertilizers, as well as organization of services and refrigerating chambers.

The State has provided wide benefits and favorable investment conditions for entrepreneurs operating in the Aghdam Industrial Park. Residents are exempt from property, land, income and income taxes for a period of 10 years, as well as from VAT and customs duties on machinery, equipment and raw materials imported into the country for production purposes. In addition, subsidized social insurance contributions and other support mechanisms are used for entrepreneurs. The products made in the Industrial Park, which currently ranks 2nd in the country in terms of the number of residents, are directed both to meet domestic demand and exported to foreign markets.
