Central Bank sold $62.7 million to banks at currency auction

November 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan held today a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that $62.7 million was sold to banks at the auction.

"Demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $62.7 million and was fully met," the CBA said.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
