Central Bank sold $63 million to banks at currency auction

November 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that $63 million was sold to banks at a currency auction on 5 November.

"Demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $63 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
