November 3, Fineko/abc.az. Presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev has held a briefing.

ABC.AZ reports that at the briefing Hajiyev noted that Armenia starts extensive use of weapons with white phosphorus, available in its arsenal.

He said that recently three phosphorus shells have been found in Fizuli district and neutralized by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA): "These shells do not explode, they penetrate deep into the ground. Phosphorous weapons poison the body by entering it through the respiratory tract. Its effects can be extremely harmful. If burning white phosphorus lands on a person's skin, it can go through to the bone.

Armenia has used ballistic missiles and heavy artillery against the civilian population of Azerbaijan before. Armenia launched missiles at Ganja, Barda, Naftalan, Terter and other districts of Azerbaijan."
