November 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA informs that $62.4 million was sold to banks at the auction on 3 November.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $62.4 million and was fully met," the CBA said.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
