Azerbaijan Central Bank sold $58 million to banks at a currency auction

October 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ).

The CBA informs that $58 million was sold to banks at the currency auction on 8 October.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $58 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

Following the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
