September 17, Fineko/abc.az. Donors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have agreed to allocate an additional $4 billion over a 4-year period (2021-2024) for the budgets of the Asian Development Fund (AFD) and the Special Technical Assistance Fund.

The financing of $2.3 bn or 58% of the additional funds will be carried out by 30 donors, including Azerbaijan and the Philippines.

The remaining $1.7 bn (42% of the funds) will be financed from internal reserves and transfers, which are the net income of ADB.
