August 6, Fineko/abc.az. China intends to launch two weather satellites in 2021 called Fengyun-3E (FY-3E) and Fengyun-4B (FY-4B), ABC.AZ was reported by news agency Xinhua.
According to the information, Fengyun-3E will join the group of meteorological installations that have already been placed in orbit, and will be the fifth in this series.
Previous Fengyun-3D satellite was launched in November 2017.
According to Xinhua, the new satellite will improve the accuracy and efficiency of global numerical weather forecasts.
