July 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $60.5 million was sold to banks in the currency auction on 30 July.

"The demand from banks in the currency auction totaled $60.5 million and was fully secured," the CBA said in a statement.

Following the auction the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
