July 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $60 million was sold to banks in the currency auction on 23 July.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $60 million and was fully secured," the CBA said in a statement.

Following the auction, the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
