July 2, Fineko/abc.az. The fortune of Jeff Bezos, the world's richest man and the head of company Amazon, has jumped p to a new historical record of $171.6 bn.
ABC.AZ reports that this is reported by Bloomberg.
The Agency notes that the new record was made possible by a jump in the price of Amazon’s shares - at the end of Wednesday it rose by 4.4% up to a record of $2,878.7 per share.
According to the Agency, only in the 1st half of 2020 a businessman who owns 11% of the company's shares earned $56.7 bn.
In April 2020 journal Forbes awarded Jeff Bezos the 1st place among the world's wealthiest people. At the time, his fortune was estimated at about $113 bn.
