June 30, Fineko/abc.az. Since this March Azerbaijan has observed decrease in the number of arriving foreigners.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Center of Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications that it is linked with the massive spread of the coronavirus and the announcement of pandemic.

Therefore, in May 2020 foreign citizens’ transactions through bank cards in the country amounted to AZN 24.3 million. For Jan-May of the year, the cost of foreign bank card transactions in Azerbaijan reached AZN 256 million.
