June 1, Fineko/abc.az. The quantity of POS terminals in Azerbaijan reduced by 14,459 or 20% for April and amounted to 56,668 as of 1 May.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to APA that the Central Bank says this in its statement.

According to the information, 36,311 terminals (64% of POS terminals) are installed in Baku and 20,357 ones (36%) in districts of the country. For the reporting month there was also a decrease in the number of cash machines (ATMs). Thus, the number of cash machines installed in Azerbaijan declined by 41 (1.5%) in April.

The number of ATMs decreased by 11 and POS-terminals by 10,800 compared with the beginning of the year.
