May 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA informs that foreign currency for $54.7 million was sold to banks in the auction on 14 May.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $54.7 million and was fully secured," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
