May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Some medical professionals and health facility managers misunderstand the matter of additional salary increases.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Zaur Aliyev, the chairman of board of the State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance, during his speech at a briefing of the Cabinet Ministers’ Operational Headquarters.

Agency's chair noted that in March allowances were paid to 9,483 medical workers and 1,043 to non-medical workers.

"This means more than AZN 6 million. We're still getting lists. More than 10,000 medical workers received allowances," Aliyev said.
