April 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ).
According to the CBA, $57.9 million was sold to banks at the currency auction on 28 April.
"The demand from banks in Tuesday’s auction amounted to $57.9 million and was fully secured," the CBA said in a statement.
Following the auction, the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.7.
