April 9, Fineko/abc.az. For the first time in 2019 the assets of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan exceeded $40 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Prime Minister Ali Asadov on 9 April at a video report on Cabinet Ministers’ activities for 2019.

He noted that at the end of the reporting year the amount of external public debt amounted to $9.91 bn. Compared with the previous year, the volume of investments in fixed assets grew by 1.9%, in the nonoil industry by 23% in 2019. 70% of those investments were formed from internal sources and 30% from external sources.
