VAT cancelled in Azerbaijan - Government declared about business support

April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Economy announced the measures to support businesses and to reduce the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports that among the measures are as follows:

* Exemption of certain taxpayers from VAT for the certain period;

* Exemption from current tax payments for the certain term for spheres of activity to be covered by tax reliefs;

* Extension of the period for granting income tax at the end of 2019;

* Extension of the deadline for submitting tax reports, as well as the deadline for paying taxes.
