In Kazakhstan, entrepreneurs can be exempt from property tax - new program development underway

March 19, Fineko/abc.az. Shopping centers, cinemas, exhibition and sports facilities in Kazakhstan may be exempt from property tax.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to foreign media that the above-said statement was made at a government meeting by Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov. The minister added that the tax benefit will be valid for one year.

According to the minister, it is also planned to suspend the transfer of penalties for one quarter, and transfer tax reports to the third quarter. The minister noted that program "Economy of Simple Things" will increase the ability of entrepreneurs to get loans in the national currency: "The amount of lending within the program will be increased from 400 billion tenge (AZN 1.56 bn) to 1 trillion tenge (AZN 3.91 bn). President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev tasked the government to develop a program of comprehensive measures to support the tourism business."
