March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has done a lot of work on the modernization of the bus fleet in Baku, and buys the most modern buses.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by President Ilham Aliyev during his speech at the ceremony of the opening of section Pirshagi-Goradil-Novkhani-Sumgait section of the Absheron ring railway after its reconstruction.

The head of state noted that this year the country is planning to import 300 new buses: "In 2019 we imported 300 new buses for Baku. Of course, the transport problems of our entire city and the Absheron Peninsula are being solved in a coordinated manner. Azerbaijan is among the leading countries on the metro, railway, bus, and taxi transport.”
