March 16, Fineko/abc.az. Certain benefits related to the term of credit agreements, as well as their repayment periods, are possible during the period of coronovirus, ABC.AZ was stated by MP Vugar Bayramov.

Having stressed that private companies in some countries are applying certain benefits in connection with coronovirus, Bayramov thinks that this is also social corporate responsibility.

According to the MP, it is also expedient for commercial banks to apply benefits for their clients in the current sensitive period in accordance with corporate social responsibility: "But commercial banks should make their own decisions in all cases, since they are private institutions. The government does not make decisions on such matters, especially on commercial banks. I underlined that this decision can be made by banks themselves. From this angle, it would be certainly expedient to take such a decision."

It should be noted that in neighboring Georgia some large commercial banks have already announced about extension of the repayment period of loans for their clients.

Thus, banks will give an additional 3-month period for repayment to loan-borrowers.
