March 5, Fineko/abc.az. An agreement has been signed between airline Azimut and PASHA Travel on the development of passenger services and direct aviation links between Rostov-on-Don and Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that Rostov Oblast’s governor Vasily Golubev noted that humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and Rostov Oblast of Russia is of fundamental importance.

According to Golubev, cooperation of universities also has good prospects: "Currently, four universities of Rostov Oblast are directly connected with six universities in Azerbaijan. Therefore, the presence of a direct air link between Baku and Rostov-on-Don will have effective impact on the relevant programs."
