February 10, Fineko/abc.az. The interest rates on deposits decreased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that as of 1 January 2020 the average interest rate on deposits in manats at banks of Azerbaijan made up 9.27% and in foreign currency 1.84%.

According to Central Bank’s report, in monthly comparison the yield recorded a decrease of 0.04% and 0.09%, respectively.

During this period the average interest rate on deposits of individuals placed in manats also decreased from 9.76% to 9.68%, and on deposits placed in foreign currency from 2.45% to 2.40%.
