June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Financial Market Supervision Authority has unveiled the indicators of the insurance market for Jan-May 2019.

Compared to Jan-May 2018, there was a rise of 2% in voluntary insurance premiums (AZN 2.4 million) and by 10% in compulsory insurance premiums (AZN 7.7 million) not related to life insurance.

Growth on the types of insurance not related to life insurance was observed mainly in health insurance - 20% (AZN 10.6 million) and compulsory insurance of real estate - 33% (AZN 4 million).

In addition, growth of 18% (AZN 3.5 million) was registered in the compulsory life insurance.
