March 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan-Russia business seminar on the theme "On the way to realization of investment projects in Azerbaijan: Opportunities of Gazprombank is taking place in Baku with the support of the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (Azpromo) and Gazprombank.
"Relationships between Azerbaijan and Russia have been brought up to the level of strategic partnership. To date, Russian businessmen have invested $4.2 billion in the economy of Azerbaijan, while Azerbaijani ones more than $1 billion.
Two countries’ trade turnover has increased by 20% up to $2.55 billion by the end of 2018," Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev said at the opening of the seminar.
Samed Gurbanov, chairman of board of the Azerbaijani-Russian Business Council, stated that Gazprombank is a strategic bank for the Azerbaijani market and that there are prospects for further expansion of cooperation with this Russian bank.
