October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Khartoum offers Moscow to create a free economic zone on the Red Sea coast, which could be used for storage and further supplies of Russian goods, primarily wheat and fuel, to African countries.

Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan, made the relevant statement at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Sudan is the gateway to Africa, and we can create a free economic zone on the Red Sea, which Russia can use to create warehouses with fuel and wheat there," he said.
